Walk-in Shower Remodel

The homeowners of this house in Lawrence Park hired us to remodel both their first floor and their second floor bathrooms back-to-back in the winter of 2014. Shown in the picture is the upstairs bathroom. They wanted to remove the tub on legs their bathroom and replace it with a walk-in shower, custom glass door, and seat. Since the bathroom is in a dormer, building the shower was more difficult than normal. We built out the existing exterior wall and insulated the water lines as best as possible so that they would not freeze during the cold, chilly winters. Ryan built a bench seat, and a recessed nook for storage, and supplied & installed ceramic tile on all the walls up to ceiling level. A custom glass door was made and installed by a local glass company. The finished product, we think you will agree, was a beautiful bathroom.
