Aquamarine Bathroom Remodel
This bathroom, located in a home in southwest Erie, definitely had an aquatic theme going on when we first saw it. The transformation from aquamarine to muted neutrals was dramatic. We removed the old tub & shower unit and replaced the tub with a white Americast tub. The small white subway tiles on the wall gave way to large ceramic tiles, installed checkerboard style inside the shower. The linoleum floor covering was replaced with large ceramic tiles. We also supplied & installed wood in the walls and mounted grab bars inside the tub area to make the bathtub more easily accessible or usable for a person with hip or knee problems. We replaced all the light wood trim in the bathroom with a darker trim, replacing the doors as well, so that the trim in the bathroom would match the rest of the trim in the house as best as possible. The new round surface-mounted mirrors, the brushed nickel trim, the larger tiles, and the earthy colors—all of these décor changes culminated in the after pictures you see below.
